About the Instructor
Thanks for visiting the site and your interest in
our program. I can't remember a time when I
haven't had a love for art and creating. When I
was six I travelled to Hawaii to visit my
grandmother and saw her paint oils under the
banyon tree with fellow artists.  I was captivated
by the lifestyle and knew that I would be an
artist one day.
Many, many years later I moved to San Diego
to study art at San Diego State University where
I received my Bachelors Degree. After
graduating, I found a teaching position which
combined two things I was passionate about -
working with children and art. I taught the
children's art program there for 6 years, but
really wanted to open my own studio.  After
visiting Williamsburg, I decided this would be a
great place to start my business. The School of
Art has been open now for 4 1/2 years and new
students are discovering us daily.
My goal is to help students achieve their artistic
goals - no matter what the age.  Art is something
that anyone can enjoy and I'm here to guide and
help anyone with a desire to create.
Find out what's possible by scheduling your
Free lesson today.  You have nothing to lose
and a lifetime of ability to gain.
See you in the studio.
Sincerely,
Tina

About the artwork in my personal gallery: The art work in this area will change every so often.  I have on display a few pieces to show
my ability in a variety of media and subject matter so one might see the range I have as an artist.  I'm passionate about creating and
the media is often secondary to the idea or subject.  However, proficiency in a wide range of materials, I believe, adds to my ability to
help others in the areas they wish to improve in or learn.
I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoy making it.
Tina
